2. What is the role of TAN?
Ans. TAN is a platform where investors can meet, interact and engage in business with Youth of the city. The buzzing ideas can become a top-notch name in the city or even country if our investors like your ideas.
3. Is TAN a registered company?
Ans. Yes, Tan Advisors Private Limited was registered at Registrar of Companies Chandigarh on 01 May, 2017 and is categorised as Company limited by Shares and a Non-govt company. Tan Advisors Private Limited’s Corporate Identification Number (CIN) is U93090PB2017PTC046411 and Registration Number is 046411.
4. How to present our ideas to TAN?
Ans. There are two ways to contact TAN: Directly and Indirectly.
Direct Method: Prepare an executive summary and blueprint of your start-up and mail us. You can also fix a meeting with us at our corporate office.
Indirect Method: If an institution r investor wants to fund your start-up or feels your start-up has something unique to offer can issue their recommendation letter to the start-up and explain why this start-up should be given a chance.
5. Does TAN have their own Fund?
Ans. No, we pool in investors and top angels to invest in start-ups. But if any member of the Board of Directors wants to invest in any start-up can do so in Individual capacity and has to abide by the terms and conditions under Individual Membership.
6. How will I get to know my pitch is shortlisted?
Ans. Secretariat will inform you of the final decision via mail or call.
7. When will the deals be pitched to the Investors?
Ans. Deals will be pitched every 4-6 weeks at the Pitch Night/Event.
8. Who can all become the members of TAN?
Ans. Anybody from Top Angels to Industrialists, Businessman, and Professionals can be part of TAN network looking for start-ups to invest.
9. What will happen after the pitch is shortlisted by the investors?
Ans. Pitch Night is organised every 4-6weeks, depending on the quantum of deals. All the shortlisted and sponsored deals – will be given the opportunity to make a formal presentation in front of the Investors Pitch Team. Every team will get total30 minutes to present their business proposal and out of this 15 minutes will be allocated for Q/A session and Discussion with the panel.
10. Do the start-ups need to have their own funds?
Ans. Start-ups should have their own sponsor members before entering the screening process. In the presentation you mentioned start-ups need to have their own sponsors..
11. What are the criteria to get funds from the network?

12. Is there any NDA one has to sign with TAN?
Ans. No TAN does not sign any NDA with Start-ups,but TAN signs NDA with Investors before making them member of the network.
